Beginning of 2008, Gravity Sport Management was founded in Luxemburg with the goal to identify, develop and promote young talents and careers in the motorsport arena. The company began its activities in the GP2 series, in the new Formula BMW Europe championship, in ADAC Masters as well as in the Moto GP 125cc class.

Nine young talents are now being supported and guided by Gravity Sport Management with the support of a dedicated group of specialists from several fields of expertise which include physical and mental preparation, coaching, media and communication training and sponsor promotion.

Jim Pla is one of those young talents. Only 15 years old, having started his karting experience in 2003, he made this big step moving into single seater racing in 2008. Racing in the Formula BMW Europe series in a very competitive international environment competing against many already experienced drivers is a very big challenge for him.

His focus has to be on learning: driving and handling the car, working with the Team, communicating with his partners and developing his skills. Gaining experience and making miles. He will grow and learn and make his way. Setting the right expecations working with him to succeed and providing the support he needs is to race and be successful is our goal.

Gravity Sport Management believes that it is possible to minimize the reliance on luck through comprehensive development plans, targetted efforts, disciplined work, clear expectations and realistic goals.
