Jim Pla hopes for the best
After ending free practice 8th, Jim Pla was only 21st after qualifying. The DAMS junior driver was obviously disappointed: "I must admit the track didn't offer much grip this morning or this afternoon. With my first set of tyres I was 12th but I failed to get the most out of my second set. The difference in lap times between the drivers is really small, with 10 cars within the same 3/10s of a second! Obviously, on this track, it's a problem when you are so far down the grid on this track. But I'll do my best and fight to the finish."
