Monza Formula BMW qualifying: Jim Pla on the pace until the last lap
Formula BMW’s youngest driver, Jim Pla, put in an impressive performance this morning at Monza by topping the time sheets of the rain soaked free practice session. Pla continued to impress at the outset of qualifying, along with team mate Kevin Breysse, but finally ended up only 11th. “We slipstreamed each other all through the session but unfortunately we got a little in each other’s way at the end of the session when the track was faster. Mind you, our end of season form proves that we are a force to be reckoned with, so we will try to live up to that expectation and the races. And end our season on a high note…”
